How your data is handled
Cycle logging is local-first and needs no account. Cloud backup exists but is used only when you explicitly enable it. Play Data Safety lists Personal info, Health and fitness, and Device or other IDs, encrypted in transit and not shared with third parties; sensitive cycle details are not used to personalise ads. You can export or delete your data from inside the app.
Questions
- Can I use it as contraception?
- No. Fertility estimates are based on cycle history. They cannot confirm ovulation and must not be used as contraception or as a guarantee of conception.
- Where is my cycle data stored?
- Cycle logging is local-first, so it stays on your phone unless you explicitly turn on cloud backup. You can export or delete everything from inside the app at any time.
